Per the US Department of Commerce, persons and entities that manufacture EV cars and technologies in China may be subject to the jurisdiction and control of the Chinese government and military.
March 1, 2024: Per the US Department of Commerce, Tesla and Elon Musk could currently be subject to the jurisdiction and direction of the People’s Republic of China government and military, thereby posing unacceptable risks to national security, the critical infrastructure of the United States, and Americans’ privacy and safety.
